I'm not sure about free software, but GarageBand on iDevices is really good.
If u can read sheet music and understand it well then u can use MuseScore which is free
Ok thanks guys, butI found one called LMMS.
Its not free but FruityLoops is one of the softwares I use. I would recommend Soundation for what your looking for, which is free.
