How to host events (guide)

There isn't a guide about this so why not make one ;o?
So many admins especially the new ones don't know the commands for some events, even the /help or :help command doesn't really give them the right commands (how did I know that?) they keep messing up even when they type it so here are the right commands and some advices on how events should be hosted
Everything's so simple.
Let's start with races
-Water 1-2 (SPEED HACKERS FAV RACE!)

1-:update level-Update level twice! "why twice? I could update once and start!", twice to make sure everything loads correctly on everyone's screen!
2-:start don't make us wait!
3-:kickall after the winner grabs his ec
Advices:
1-Don't let over 60 players in for less lag and to catch the speed hackers easily.
2-Watch out for speed hackers, watch the gameplay and always check their speed BEFORE someone wins because they can turn off the speed hack.

-Multi race

1-:update level
2-:center, 3 times you have to do it 3 times so it doesn't break
3-:start
4- :kickall
Advices:
1-don't let over 70 players in, you might break the event!
2-sometimes after you center 3 times, FEW players might get out of the beginning line. Drag them back if they keep getting out before you even start kick them.
3-watch the gameplay someone might lag through everything!

Crate 1-2/lucky race

Advices:
1-sometimes in crate2 when you start within 2 seconds someone wins. Don't worry he just lagged so you gotta restart.
2-watch the gameplay in lucky race someone might speed hack at the end!

-Ultra race

Advices:
1-be careful when u enter the last level, do NOT touch the trophy.

-Tri race / gravity 1-2

1-when you scope them inside the event some players get out of the beginning line so drag them back, in Gravity 1 usually they hide so open ur eyes O.O

-Bush race

Advices:
1-watch the gameplay someone might lag through the bushes

chance
-toilet / lucky grab

Advices:
1-you need to repeat #2 and #3 till one player survive
2-hosters should wait for the timer to tick down to 0 prior to saying ':down', even if the arena is empty. For toilet, this isn't the case, as the ':down' command cancels the timer, however if you do that in lucky grab you'll end up accidentally kicking everyone who's left as the timer isn't cancelled.

-elegant / explosive chance

4:box # (for elegant)~grab the chosen box 2/3 (for explosive)
5:kickall you can :kickdead if you didn't know
Advices:
1-when you get the players in the boxes always check if there's a player stuck in the losers' box before you start.
2-if the wrong switch is grabbed the ':undo' command may be used to heal those in the box that was incorrectly chosen.
3-:undo doesn't bring back those players who died incorrectly so be careful[/QUOTE]

3-probably not gonna work in the first try so repeat the commands

-TTS

3-:chattoggle to make them able to talk, say the same command to disable it

5-:kickdead
6-:kickall
Advices:
1-sometimes players leave while sparring and tts stop working, DO NOT SORT just say :up then :toggleauto
2-kick Teamers! "But the event called tag team spar!" By Teamers we mean those players who team up with the ENEMY team. Most admins kick them.
3-"how I know that they're teaming up?" When They say their names in public chat OR hold a special item like saber OR they just know each other by their statuses.
4-they shoot but they never hit each other and rarely get close to each other.

skill
-Spar

Advices:
1-don't let over 30 players in ! This event is so bugged. Players will get stuck on the wall and the event will probably stop working.
2-it stopped and u don't know what to do? Type :stop then :kickdead YOU HAVE TO kick non winners before you update again! then repeat #1 and #2.
3-if u keep checking spar arenas that will be really nice, when someone's stuck usually we can't see that he really is, so if you're sure heal both players and update the level INSIDE THE ARENA. U need to sit down on the red chairs.
4-sometimes players act like they're stuck.

-rush

~note: u can either make it first to 3 or first to 5

2-if someone is out the box before u even start :reset if that doesn't work kick him because he's lagging and the box probably isn't shown on his screen

there are commands, if the admin ignores the commands without actually knowing them then it's their fault.

not sure if in every event but there are signs in certain events with staff commands

i haven't just played events, I've also hosted events when i was a pr -_- of course this was years ago so much has changed
