    Coming soon: xbox/playstation controller guide

    Hey hey!
I know i haven't been on the forums for awhile, but im a little more active now. The reason i came back is because i've been planning on making a guide on how to use an xbox or playstation controller for era.
    yep, it's possible.
I'll be working on the guide for the next few days, so be sure to keep an eye out for it : )

I already made a post about this:

    Requirements:
    -Computer
    -Rooted Android Device
-PS3 Cable (The one you use to charge your controller).
    -Patience

Before you go on, You have to check that your phone is compatible with your PS3 controller:
Download the Sixaxis Compatibility Checker from Google play and run the checker. If it passes, Carry on; If not then I'm sorry.

You will need to install an App called Sixaxis Controller app:
    Click https://www.dropbox.com/s/tabu8iwuhw...3.apk?dl=0here for apk.
Once you have downloaded the app, Open the app, and Grant root access.

Tap the start button and ignore all the searches it does,as that is not our main interest at the moment.
Look in the bottom left corner of the screen and you will see your local bluetooth Address for your given android phone. Copy it down as that will be essential.

Here is a view of what it would look like:

Now open up your computer and download The Sixaxis Pair tool.

    Windows:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/aot10bzxvv...0.3.0.exe?dl=0

    Linux:

Alternatively, there is a utility for linux, called 'sixpair', that you should be able to find floating around the internet.

    Mac OSX:

Command line utility version of 'sixpair' for OSX can be downloaded from*

    Here:http://www.dancingpixelstudios.com/s...roller/sixpair

Modified source code can be found*here:http://www.dancingpixelstudios.com/s...ller/sixpair.c

This utility requires libusb, which can be downloaded from http://www.ellert.se/twain-sane/.

Choose the binary for your version of OSX.

Once you have downloaded the tool, Open it on your computer and a menu shall pop up. Connect your PS3 Controller to your computer using the PS3 USB Cable, and the PS3 Address shall be displayed on your computer.
Enter your phone's bluetooth Address in the field provided, and click the update button. Once completed, Unplug your PS3 Controller and load up the Sixaxis app on your phone; Click the Start button and then press the power button on your PS3 Controller, If all goes well it shall connect!
This process does work on ps3 and ps4 controllers.
