As for tips... hm... If you have troubles with anatomy or with shading and such you can watch videos on that or read books. I spent my time in the past under a rock watching "how to's" and browsing instagram and deviantart lol. I learn differently, as a visual learner I pretty much watch and learn.Hope this helps somehow.
