I guess you putted an incorrect file

.gif is for an animation, check if is .gif, if is .gif then erase it

All animated files should be filed as "filename.gif"
All non-animated files should be filed as "filename.png"

From someone who's actually had experience from uploading (yet it doesn't take a genius to figure this out) but a flashing image constitutes a .gif file format. To ensure it isn't a GIF, you can open the file up in your image editor and on your 'save as' option, ensure that it saves as .png

Alternatively, your side view frames could be coloured differently to the front view frame, so when you turn ingame from left to right or from left/right to front, it creates a flashing effect if you do it fast enough (this happens a lot).
