Hat /weapon displays?

Some people (like me) would like to have display cases (like in classic) for anything displayable... I was thinking that we steal the design from classic and be able to put anything in them (like gingerbread cookies) but then they would be taken out of your inventory. Once you delete the storage container the items go back to your inventory. You can only put one in each display case...

Taken out of inventory? Um this isn't really going to help out.
I assume they won't make this happen(forgot reason why).

How about just... not taking it out of the inventory? >.>
