Tbh, I only get items that are fun or that are somewhat useful in spar, the saber is a good quality piece for showoff/basing/deflecting in bases. While in the other hand, the ion carbine is a gm4 reskin basically, I'm not saying they have the same stats at all but I'm saying that they are basically alike. I'd say ion if you're planning to pk/base in the near future

Honestly, saber is an item that is to prove someone is a real Events Addict and not to blend in with those who owns one.
You suck means you suck, don't act as if you really are good at events. Being unknown to many is a great way of telling that you're not a Events Player yourself and you don't deserve the saber.
By all means, it's best you get Ion Carbine. It's tiring to see more saber people in this game with no dedication.
My remark can be harsh, but it's a spoken text of honesty.

i suggest you to buy flamethrower. but if you want to choose one of this then it depends on what weapons you have now? if you have some thing like m4 then buy ion. if you have some thing like metalstorm or bar then buy saber. but i suggest you to buy flamethrower. or googun
