It's different for everyone, some people are either good at events or not and people usually get ec at different rates like for example I get 0-2 ec a day and other people get like 1-3 or even more.

I started around when the summer began, I got 100 a week or two before the new Ec shop, had 137ish when the new shop came out. But yeah, it all depends on how good you are and consistency, which is probably the hardest part for me.
