Era Christmas Event (Separate from the regular content update)

So we're thinking of introducing an extra event into the Christmas season this year.
The idea is to create a community event.
Players would have to complete objectives which would be tracked server-wide, so for example you may need to kill 200,000 (just an example) snow-men to progress to the next objective. Each snow-man kill every player makes would count toward this overall total of 200,000. Once that goal is reached the next goal would activate.
This event would be a timed event, taking place over a few days.
Your individual scores would be remembered and the prize you receive at the end of the server-event would depend of that score (i.e. if you had a low score you'd get a poor present and so on).

Is this something you all would be interested in?

We will conducting testing of the system So you'll get a chance to 'play' it before we actually start the event if you're lucky and online at the right time.

Okay some additional information:
You might notice the small notification in the bottom once you kill one of these elves.
It will show you your personal points (the points that will later define how big your present will be) and the overall amount of kills left.
There will probably be 5 tasks in total (in which killing these elves will probably be your first task). You will then have to kill xxx elves to advance to task 2.
In order to get the max amount of presents you all have to reach the last stage together or else your present will be smaller.
