Although my intentions for my huge shield code are not to cover my player, I'm still not allowed to use it. The issue with this is that the only other way to upload a status code is through a gang picture. Sure this works but I'm restricted to still images with annoying solid backgrounds b/c only JPEG files can be uploaded as gang pics. There is no file format that provides inherent support for animations and transparent backgrounds that players can use to upload status codes. So how am I supposed to upload my GIF status code now? The answer is, I don't. Unless someone out there wants to approve it for me, that would be greatly appreciated!

There needs to be another way of uploading a status code, I don't think it would be too difficult to recreate something that functions similarly to shield codes but for statuses only.

F. Welcome to the club of getting hit with the new rules. Staff should have never changed the rules, cuz now there's zero originality with custom uploads.

TBH, Admins probably made the new rules to make the part of their jobs regarding upload reviewing less work, and so there's no uncertainty of whether or not an upload should be in the game.
